Malte Seiwerth

Malte Seiwerth has been working as a correspondent from Santiago de Chile since 2020. He writes reports from Spanish-speaking South America and conducts on-site research on topics relating to corporate responsibility and international relations. He began his journalistic career at the Swiss online magazine das Lamm.
He studied history at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago and later Latin American studies at the University of Bern in Switzerland. He has received scholarships from Netzwerkrecherche and the Journafonds in Switzerland for various research projects. He writes for the NZZ, the Wochenzeitung and ND-Aktuell, among others.
