Sascha Zastiral reports from London since February 2016. He writes for newspapers and magazines and produces radio reports as well.
Sascha has been working as a foreign correspondent for almost a decade now: Shortly after graduating from Henri Nannen school of journalism in Hamburg in 2007, he went to New Delhi, India. Between 2010 and early 2016, he was Weltreporter’s foreign correspondent in Bangkok.
His articles have been published in: Der Spiegel, Stern, brand eins, GEO, National Geographic Deutschland, Cicero, Der Tagesspiegel, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Tages-Anzeiger. He has produced radio reports and features as well.
Sascha has graduated from University of Heidelberg’s South Asia Institute. He holds an M.A. degree in South Asian Political Sciences and South Asian History.
